The Happy Land Hotel, a backpackers’ favorite, offers clean rooms and spotless bathrooms, as well as very friendly service, a copious breakfast with fruit and fresh juices and cornflakes on the rooftop terrace. Pretty nice hostel, they organise any tour and can answer any question you have. Breakfast was nice and the general vibe was also pretty great. Just the rooms are a bit outdated, need some work. The wifi was horrible, sometimes it worked a bit but most of the time it didn't. Also if you have a room on the street side, it can be super loud at times and the mosque will wake you up every morning at 4 am for 5 min.
In general, can recommend the hostel if those things don't bother you too much

I had a very pleasant stay at the hostel. Great breakfast, inviting social area, good recommendations.
The one knock I have on the hostel is the bathroom is very small, and the shower has low water pressure and doesn’t warm up well for those who choose the ‘private room w/ shared bathroom’ option.
Big shoutout to the owner Mahmoud for helping me organise tours, get discounted prices and send the AirPods I accidentally left at the hostel to Aswan. Thank you for the help and the stay!

Great location in Luxor. Staff were really friendly and helpful, they offer tours to West Bank and hot air balloons for a very reasonable price. Varied breakfast is included and they have a nice rooftop area.
