Our Hostel is located in new town. Taking a stroll across the Kinta River, you could find the path of heritage walk, witnessing British colonial buildings and monuments with the well known concubine lane full of of interesting stories. The famous Guan Heong biscuit shop winning the top 50 best street food in the World Congress is just around the corner. At night definitely you won't miss the 'must-try' bean sprout chicken and other local delicacies. All are available within walking distance.
We do arrange 'entourage' tour with reasonable fare visiting temple caves, historical murals and museums until Gopeng, a small town outskirt of Ipoh which is famous for tin mining as well.
We are raised in Ipoh and will guide you to travel as local and to LIVE as local.
Slow down your pace and enjoy the trace of glory from the past.

Couldn’t have been more lucky to stay here. I started to feel very ill and the owner (Suky) took me to the hospital. I had my appendix removed the next day! Suky also owns “homey hostel†I stand there on my visit back for my follow up appointment. If you book vLoft, book the 4 bed dorm as they ac is better. Homey hostel is only 2 streets away but is louder. (Ear plugs provided) due to the night market etc. Suky did everything she could to help me. I will always remember Ipoh! Lol

Clean and comfortable hostel. For solo women traveling I’m not sure I would recommend booking into the large/main room. There is no staff during the night and I was alone with a man which was not the most ideal situation. I was quite uncomfortable being alone with him and no one else in the building. I think this would be a good spot for people traveling in groups, but not solo.
