Nice setting in a luscious tropical decor with a Mayan traditional architecture..a quiet & clean room & bath but no shower curtain so water in the floor everywhere..also no microwave & lots of mosquito outside the garden..nobody speak English so hard to communicate with the staff.. overall a better than average hostel for price!!

Cute cheap, it was totally worth it because I had the whole dorm to myself. No spoons in kitchen, I bought one to leave there. No mirror in the bathroom. Just little details. I enjoyed the place and the pool. Wasn't sure what was going on with signs everywhere saying "No alcohol" but everyone was drinking beer all the time. Staff friendly at the desk, but when not at the desk, maybe a little different, perhaps because my Spanish isn't that good. Overall, I recommend it.

No-see-ums in the beds....you will get bitten all night and they leave no bite marks. It is an open air jungle hostel. Check in took a while but they are pleasant enough. Pool and kitchen was ok.
