Small House feeling despite being in a building. Bed is quite long (suitable for 1.9m height). Lovely staff. However Adress on Hostel World isn't correct, but you can ask them by Wechat.

Baobab is a very nice respite for a hostel traveler if you can get it. Jesse and Summer are very nice hosts, and it's a very familial atmosphere with excellent conversation and cooking. There are a few things that may annoy a person new to Shenzhen/China (thin mattress, oily cooking area, shower drain has a little buildup), but they are either non-issues or easily worked around (bring a small cushion, counter prep areas are clean, just spray down the drain occasionally). Jesse is very supportive and his family is lovely! He also upgraded me for a single room for free (bought a shared room with 6). Also gave me lots of tips about transportation. Would definitely come back!
