Hostal Palohe is the newest hostel in Taganga just 50 meters from the beach and approximately 4 km from Santa Marta. Hostal Palohe opened on August 2017 and offers brand new beds, bedding, towels, and facilities,Air condicioning in all the rooms, private bathroom, and free WiFi. We are located about 18 km from the Simón Bolívar International Airport and offer airport pick-up and drop-off.
Hostal Palohe offers many amenities, including satellite TV, common areas, relaxing terraces with hammocks and majestic mountain views, an outdoor pool, and restaurant (serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner at affordable prices). Hostal Palohe has self-service laundry and free luggage storage, and lockers. We can also arrange diving classes and tours as well as day trips to Parque Nacional Tayrona and its beautiful secluded beaches. There are shops, beach restaurants, bars, and nightclubs within a 2-minute walk.
Hostal Palohe can accommodate up to 36 people in dormitory, semi-private, and private rooms. We accept all major credit cards and have a 24-hour reception with no curfew. Wonderful hostel with very friendly and welcoming owner and staff who make you feel at home. The pool and hammock area is great to cool off in, and the air conditioning in the rooms is a god-send in the heat. The hostel is very clean and well equipped. The only small point to note is that shower facilities are quite basic, but functional.

wonderful Hostel run by a wonderful couple. All the facilities were exceptional. Staff could not have been more helpful arranging travel, helping with trips and any information we needed. Quick and good priced laundry service. Cheap and very tasty breakfast. Spacious areas to relax. Would recommend to everyone.
