Great hostel, it is unfortunate that not many people come to Alausí, just because the train to “la nariz del diablo” is closed. You can still hike the path to see it and it is very scenic, with loads of pretty birds on the path. I was here just before Christmas and participated in the local celebrations, wich was a parade and games like Piñata. The hostel is very modern and clean and offers free tea. Totally recommended!

Lovely clean and friendly hostel. Very quiet apart from the chorus of roosters! Great location and good directions for a great hike to the Nez de Diablo
