Captain Coconuts Gili Air offers guest the unique experience in the hanging bed bamboo lodge, each bed is suspended from the room and are equip with privacy/mosquito screens and private fan, the allocated lockers are fitted with power/charging stations for practical convenience.
Hot water shower is available to all guest courtesy of Solar hot water system, with every toilet fitted to the Bio-Septic system, guest can rest and relax knowing their traveller foot print will not affect the fragile island environment.
Captain Coconuts Gili Air also offers delicious wholefood meals in their popular café, guest are treated to a selection of Buckwheat banana pancake, Captains omelette or apple pie oats included with their stay. Wi-Fi is available in all areas of the grounds and the natural stone pool.

This hostel is a great place to recharge - I loved the pool area and it’s a good place to remote work as they have a back up generator for WiFi! The dorms are interesting being open air - my mosquito net was a bit short for the bed though but thankfully there weren’t many bugs so all was good. I’ll be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Captain Coconuts and were devastated to have to leave. The lovely outside dorms were complete with floating beds which each had their own fan and fabric built in for privacy and mosquito protection.

Loved the vibe there!! It was a really chill hostel, with a nice breakfast included.
The location was good, close to many restaurant and the beach.
