We all have experienced our biggest challenge during this pandemic and since then we have been doing our best to make this place safe for everyone. Being backpackers, we believe that one cannot stop a traveller from travelling. So, we are ready, when you are ready.

We believe travel is not going to be the same. We have to adapt to the new normal. We have always given hygiene and cleanliness a high priority. We have further extended our cleaning process by following the safety guidelines for Covid-19 to make sure our hostel is a safe environment for everyone. With your help and our commitment, we can bring back the joy of the hostel experience, which we all love.

Following are some of the safety measures, which we have taken:

1. Regular temperature checks and protective gear for staff.
2. Well-informed staff that know what protocols to follow in case a guest shows any symptoms.
3. Sanitizing the rooms, bunk beds, washrooms and all touch points in common areas periodically.
4. Online check-in and pre-payments.
5. Sanitization & temperature checks during check-ins
6. Maintaining social distancing and respecting other’s space.
7. Make your own bed. With little effort, you can be sure that you have clean and fresh linen.
8. Following the safety guidelines issued by WHO and Government.

We are located in the biggest suburban district of Mumbai - Andheri. Tucked away in a calm and peaceful neighbourhood, this green oasis is perfect place to relax and take some time out after surviving the craziness of this city. And if you still have some energy left, you can always head to the nearby bars, pubs or grab a bite at some really good restaurants. Western part of Andheri is very famous among the locals for its nightlife, and we want you to party like a local, with the locals.

We have great connectivity to the nearest train station with a bus service right from our doorstep or you can just head to the nearest metro station which is simply 10 mins away. Feeling adventurous? Well, just hop inside a rickshaw and you will go zipping through the traffic in no time.

We have an indoor and an outdoor common area, a rooftop chill zone, mixed dorms, female dorm, private rooms and a coconut tree in our backyard. All our dorms and private rooms have en-suite baths. A simple breakfast is served to get your day started.

We want to meet friendly and interesting people. Hostel Mantra is not a commercial enterprise. It is a community with heart and a chance to experience the real West-Mumbai.
