I was nervous due to reviews but this is perfect for social backpackers. A great communal area with lots of surfers, travellers and young people. Bathrooms could be a lot cleaner and smell better but the 6 bed room was mostly clean and spacious. Basic living but super social and great location (if you have a bike).

Let me start by saying that I usually don’t need much to be comfortable and I am not picky.
But I had here the WORST nights in 11 months of travelling Asia. They somehow managed to get the find the worst and loudest mattresses in the world. You moved one inch and you woke the whole room. No one slept comfortable and we were even feeling guilty for going to the bathroom in the middle of the night! It’s an awful way of spending the night and complete ruins your Uluwatu experience.

Place isn’t luxury and they are still doing a lot of construction on the property so it’s not the cleanest or fanciest hostel I’ve stayed in.
With that said, the family that runs the hostel is lovely and the atmosphere is so welcoming. Good value for the price you pay and would stay there again
