The Hostel is built in a colonial building built in 1888, maintaining the main stately elements of the Building, very high wooden beamed ceilings and large spaces, all rooms have large windows or large balconies in the style of the century IXX It also has a kitchen-dining room equipped to enjoy a good free breakfast for our guests!

South Hostel Cádiz, is a Hostel Establishment of Typology Hostel, located in one of the most central streets of the Historic District of Cádiz, next to the most emblematic Monuments of the City and the most popular Beach, 'La Caleta', stroll through these Streets remind us of Old Havana since it was inspired by our City.

The area is very quiet to rest and very busy by tourists during the day since it contains all international fashion brands.

Cancellation policy: 3 days before arrival. In case of no show or late cancellation, the property will charge the total stay.

You get what you're paying for - not a place to socialize and no activities organized by the hostel. The manager doesn't want people interacting or the hostel to be more social so the Whatsapp group they created when I was there was deleted a couple days after it was created. Really rude staff and no one speaks English. Also the lock on the door needs to be changed - a few of us got locked outside after going out at night since the key they give you doesn't work properly.

Be warned, they advertise that they accept card payments but only take cash and then won't give you a receipt upon request when you pay in cash. Furthermore, got pink eye from this hostel lol- I've travelled a lot but this place is the utmost dump you will ever stay in. People smoking in the rooms, sinks, toilets, and showers overflowing- rude staff to top it all off. The sinks are so small you can't even wash your hands. The only positive I would say is the kitchen is nice for cooking lol
