Sydney Backpackers is a youth hostel located in the heart of Sydney CBD (Central Business District), a 30-minute drive from Sydney Airport. Just a short walk away you’ll find Westfield Tower and shopping centre, Darling Harbour, Hyde Park and an array of other city attractions.

Sydney Backpackers offers clean, comfortable and affordable backpacker accommodation perfectly situated in the heart of the city. The hostel offers a variety of private and dormitory rooms. Each comes with a free sanitised linen, and free use of an individual locker with a secure padlock.
It offers a rooftop terrace with barbecue facilities, free WiFi access, and a fully equipped common kitchen.

The location is fantastic right in the centre by the town hall! Super clean bedrooms. The beds themselves are immaculate super comfy and have a little privacy curtain so you truly feel like you have your own space. The bathrooms/toilet facilities on the first floor look to have been nearly refurbed and were in great condition however the ones on my floor (2) were old and worn down and a little bit dirty but bareable. The facilities and reception were great! Overall a fantastic place to stay

Location is great, close to townhall station&George st. Room was big enough (booked female dorm bed),but there was always air conditioning on and it was freezing!We reported the excessive cold to the front desk but nothing changed.My laundry detergent (new bottle) disappeared from the room and also products from the fridge!One day they even threw me a bottle of water left for a few minutes in the kitchen.Only 2xshower & 2toilets x floor, unbelievable! Common areas too small & crowded.Never again

The staff here are amazing!!! Daniel helped me at the front desk & he was so friendly & gave me lots of suggestions on things to do during my roadtrip. I will definitely be coming back here next time Iâ€™m in Sydney :))
