Property Description
The Kasbah Langkawi dormitory building has 2 areas with different bedding: Flying beds and Japanese style beds on the upper deck. All beds have a mosquito net, plug-point and a fan.
The bathrooms are separated for men and women. Each side has 3 toilets, 2 showers and 2 sink.
In our Restaurant, Café & Bar we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Kasbah food menu offers range of authentic local dishes and a good mix of western delicacies with daily specials and live grill on the weekend.
The Kasbah is also widely known as a gathering space for local artisan and musicians giving it a special atmosphere with live performance, exhibition and knowledge talk a frequent event in the restaurant.

1. Cancellation policy: At least 3 days advance notice for free cancellation.
2. Check in from 14:00 to 23:00.
3. Check out before 12:00 noon.
4. Payment upon arrival by cash.
5. For Non-Malaysian Guest, RM10 for each room per night as Tourism tax implemented starting 1st Sept 2017.
6. No Smoking inside the room.
7. Age restriction: no children below 12 years old.
8. Reception working hours 09:00-23:00.

For me this was the best place to stay in Langkawi. It’s an open air sorta concept, so you’re basically constantly outside but with the bug net over the beds that isn’t a problem. The common spaces are very well made and facilities are clean :)
Great food and drinks from 10am till 10pm at a reasonable price. I was very glad I stayed here compared to the other Hostels on the Island 🫶ðŸ½

lovely place, lots of mosquitos but that's to be expected, as long as you use the mosquito net and bug spray you'll be fine :) loved all the cats aswell!

Out of all my travels through Malaysia, this was my favourite! I loved the open planned layout of the room (about 20 beds). Each bed comes with clean linen, a towel and a locker to keep your belongings safe. The bathrooms were suuuuper clean. Loved the location, it was perfect. The staff are the hostel are all amazing. They’re more than happy to help you out with absolutely anything and everything and are always up for a chat. They also have to most AMAZING smoothie bowls!! A must have!
