Property Description

The HI - Lisbon Parque das Naes Youth Hostel was built in 1998 to host young people from all over the globe who came to visit Expo 98. With the renovation of the east side of town, a whole range of facilities were created, much to the satisfaction of Lisbon's inhabitants. Young people were absolutely thrilled with the new possibility of having huge concerts in Pavilho Atlntico, visiting the theme pavilions and Lisbon's Oceanarium, or even going bowling.

This is the Lisbon of the future, organized and lively. Obviously, it had to have a Youth Hostel.

Breakfast included in price.

Hostelling International membership card is required. Portuguese can buy it directly at any hostel. Foreigners should buy it in their home countries otherwise a supplement of 2 per night/per person will be charged to non-members.

Extremely comfy doors. Good set out. Easy check in with no bother if a bit late for selected time.

Cheap and cheerful. My best priced go to for early morning flights. Often get the room to myself.

Very Good

Not located in the City Centre but close to beautiful walking paths by the coast, the Parque das Nações, aquarium and the airport (good location to stay at on your last day). Building is both a hostel and a sort of conference centre. It wasn't very clear at all which parts of the building I was free to use or not. I found it odd that I had to give my key to reception every time I left the building, then had to wait to get it back upon my return. Not great when the staff were on break.
