Large room but bed very uncomfortable. Door did not open or close without having to use force. Breakfast was make your own from supplies in kitchen. Free drink in cafe/ bar was nice touch, but cafe only seating area for hostel and discouraged from eating own food there. Also not very sociable for the same reason

A decent enough hostel in Vientiane, it’s 1920s theme is unique and very cute. The bedrooms are dated but have good air conditioning. The bathrooms had good hot water. There is a cute little market outside and there are supermarkets and restaurants in the surrounding area. There is a small bar at the hostel but there is not much of a party/drinking vibe there. It’s definitely a good stop for a few days in Vientiane.

The staff tries hard to make you feel at home, even with their limited english. The kitchen with fridge is amazing for breakfast, and so is the voucher for a free drink. They have a. Beautiful common area and library.
