Our staff will provide you all the information you will need about what to see, what to do, where to eat, how to enjoy without spending too much and how to live at the maximum the incredible local nightlife.
We are located in Cerro Alegre and just next to Cerro Concepcion, both hills are in the most touristic area of Valparaíso.really close to all you need and a few meters from public transportation that provides the city. In this sense, some of the finest and most relevant landmarks and tourist attractions such as Ascensor Victoria, Museo al Cielo Abierto, and Museo La Sebastiana. Pablo Neruda is near to our facilities.
We offer different types of rooms to let you choose what is best for you at this point in your travel and your budget. We have shared mixed rooms and others only for girls. And for those who are seeking more comfort and privacy, we have private rooms for two, three or four persons. In addition, you can choose between rooms with private bathroom or shared bathroom.

One of the best hostels I've stayed in. good value, clean, TV in the private rooms, very helpful and welcoming front desk, decent kitchen, great location and a easy to meet people.

Pros: the bed was sturdy and very comfy. The rooftop terrace was a nice spot to hang out and the hostel is in a good location to see the centre of the city.
Cons: hostel has seen better days. The shared bathrooms lacked hooks and had terrible ventilation so there was mould on the walls. There were also lots of unpleasant smells throughout the hostel.

First time in Valparaiso and very unknown what it was really about. As for Maki Hostel, it added only to the awesomeness of this city! From start to finish of my 4 days 3 nights there I was very impressed. The security was never a question. Accommodations were way above anything I ever expected with great staff and very clean. Top all that off with being in one of the best locations in the middle of everything. Thank you Maki. I will be back and will refer all who plan to go to Valparaiso!
