Property Description
Welcome to the Jungle! We're wild here ? - we really put the 'wild' in 'wildlife' to life. We love to host young people (aged 18 - 45), who want to have fun and learn about new cultures. People from all corners of the globe join our family in the jungle, making us an international community! We're also a party hostel (we try to keep it quiet after midnight, but sometimes karaoke nights do get a bit wild!)

We spend all our time together, just like a family. Think of us as your home away from home: we cook, have late night chats on the rooftop, go on trips, and create memories together. Memories rich with love and friendship. ? We're just a 10 minute walk away from the beach, Old Jaffa and the hipster Florentine neighbourhood. There is a beautiful park right in front of the hostel, great for outdoor activities - and makes an amazing green view from the front windows of the hostel! ??
We are a very well-equipped hostel with some amazing facilities. Our facilities include: 10 shared bathrooms and toilets, as well as 2 large and fully equipped kitchens. You can join the cooking in the evening and be a part of the team of budding chefs to create our vegan dinner every evening! ???
The nearest train station is Hahagana station. It is very easy to get to, for example, by bus. You can then visit many cities, such as Jerusalem or Haifa, from this train station. You are also able to get to and from the international airport from this station. This gives us the perfect location for travellers.
We offer a free vegan dinner for all guests every evening. The evening events start at around 5pm, where the kitchen opens for everyone to gather and cook. We take cooking as a communal activity, where you can join our team of volunteers to cook a vegan dinner. At 7pm, we then have happy hour, where you are able to get discounted beverages. Dinner is also served at this time. We then have a variety of night activities, such as parties, stand-up comedy, and nightclubs - it is different every night!

The showers are great. The location isn't bad, a ten minute walk to the beach and the old city. However, it is not very clean (there are bugs everywhere in the kitchen) and the staff, while very friendly, are not able to help with many issues and they seem to treat the common space like a clubhouse rather than a reception.

I've been double charged and can't get in touch with the property. I've tried to contact them via Whatsapp, email and instagram and they never replied. Hostelworld team is currently trying to contact them.

You get what you pay for and then you have to pay for everything else too. The Dinner is not a thing, its not free. The room I was assigned to looked like a tornado ripped thru it and on top of that my assigned bed was also a mess. Floor hadn't been swept in ages as the dust bunnys in the corner showed. Its good for 1 night anymore just do yourself a favor and find somewhere else.
