Finca Hostal Bolivar - Casa Mango is located directly by the Minca river where you can take a pleasant bath after a hot day. The hostel its only a 5 minutes walk away from Minca town but already in the middle of the lush jungle. On our private viewpoint you can see Santa Marta, the Caribbean sea and unforgettable sunsets.
Finca Hostal Bolivars 'Casa Mango' is located at the outside of the village Minca in beautiful nature by the river, on the road to Pozo Azul. Its a 5 minutes walk to the village where you have a big variety of Restaurants, Cafes and Bars as well as shopping. its a 30 min hike to the natural pool and waterfalls 'pozo azul'.
We offer a private twin room with two single beds, lockers, personal fan, power sockets and a beautiful view to the jungle.
Our Guesthouse offers the following:
- Very clean shared bathrooms with HOT water shower.
- Common area with hammocks

We enjoyed our stay in Minca. The hostel was very clean, the kitchen had everything. We did experience a couple of power cuts, but this is part of living in Minca. The owners run the place from a distance, so you have to call them but they were helpful.
Only gripe is when hostels put notes up everywhere telling you not to wash your clothes in the shower and pay them lots per 1kg to do it. You can't take your own beers in either.

The location of this hostal is perfect, it’s not quite in the main strip but only a short walk from restaurants. We loved the private river access, and access to a private vista where we saw several tucans. We stayed in casa mango and the dorms were good, but lacked a few details that would make it excellent, like privacy curtains or hooks for drying clothes. The owner of the hostal was so kind and gave us great information about Minca as we arrived. Also, best hostal shower in a while.
