Tucan was a quiet, comfy stay in Cusco after doing the 4-day Salkantay Trek. The private room was spacious and had a great, hot shower. No breakfast unfortunately, but there are great cafes nearby to go to instead. Atmosphere was quite quiet, so take that as you may. Staff were friendly enough, but my one gripe is that they don’t carry change if you pay by cash.

Overall a fine place to stay. Staff was friendly. We stayed in the 3 bedroom and it was very dusty, I woke up coughing both nights. If you’ve got dust allergies I’d just stay elsewhere. Otherwise, the beds were comfortable and they gave us extra blankets because it was cold. The shower was hot.

Cons: dorm rooms have uncomfy beds and bunks shake when people are walking in the room + CCTV in female dorm! Male receptionist was watching it on the main screen while i was talking to him? Not sure if this is allowed.
Not a sociable place but I was looking for somewhere quiet and cheap and this place is exactly that
Pros: cheap, quiet, staff mostly friendly, clean and spacious
