We enjoyed our stay at La Buleka, however, the sign outside the front door says La Viduka which was very confusing when getting a taxi from Cartagena airport. The breakfast changes everyday and is great. The hostel is in a great location, close to the centre of everything. The hostel itself is basic. The rooftop area gives a great view of the city and is a good chill out.

First of all, to start with the positives, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was good.
Our private room was gross — the walls and shower and ceiling and shower curtain were all covered in mold. This is not only disgusting but quite bad for your health.
The staff was friendly but not very knowledgeable on things like making travel plans.
The breakfast was good, and the servers were nice, but it was a small portion.
The location was okay.
Our room was very loud.
Bad value. Avoid!
