Shepherd Guest House is a restored 2 family Victorian home where you can unwind in the backyard after a long day on the city, in brooklyn new york. As stated it is a Victorian Home and so is the decor.
Located in East New York Brooklyn 30 minutes to to both Manhattan and JFK Airport via subway.
Rooms are furnished with double beds which can sleep 2 people. All rooms come with fresh linen and towels and heating and air-conditioning as needed. You have access to 2 shared kitchens equipped with stoves, microwaves coffee makers refrigerators, silverware plates and pots. There is a backyard with seating BBQ , free wifi and a lovely pear tree to relax under after a long day in the city.

The location is in a shady area! It isnt a safe location.
There was two fights that broke out right on the corner of the block!
When you come back at night, safer to get an uber/lyft/taxi!
The bathroom wasnt cleaned properly,, there was still dust near the sink area from day one ( i was there for 4 days).
The floor is loud when you walk.

Two things to keep in mind:
1. The location is sketchy! There is destroyed cars around it, and I didn't feel safe walking there at nightime. Even at daytime it's sketchy from time to time. Shop owners around there told me it's a dangerous area.
2. The attic room had a very low ceiling. I know it was written in the description so I expected it to some extend. But I had to crawl to get to the room, and bumped my head several times.
I'm definitely not booking this again.

Wonderful spot, very fairly priced. Has everything you need! I'd stay here over a corporate hotel any day!
