Popcorn is a creative, non-formal hostel accommodation for young travelers. Our mission is to provide our guests, in addition to quality services, a great experience. There is a shared kitchen at the property and a garden. Free WiFi is available throughout the property.
Self-check-in, on the phone reception. A passport digital copy has to be sent in advance.
The Henri Coandă International Airport (Otopeni) direct train (1 euro/person).
We are the closest hostel to the train station - Gara de Nord (265 m).
A big Kaufland supermarket with an ATM is 5 minutes walking distance from the hostel.
The Bucharest Botanical Garden is 1.5 km from here.
Sector 1 is an excellent choice for travelers interested in old-town exploring, food, and museums.

it's an OK hostel. nothing more and nothing less. self check in.A bit old house and feels dirty. backyard is nice, they have a hammock and two flying chairs

I've been in more than 70 hostels, over 50 countries.
THIS is the best hostel ever!
Very clean, very well arranged, nice socialisation lobby, beautiful backyard.
Self-check-in, very easy instructions to fill before arrival.
Everything either smoothly.
I hope ok gimme back some day...
Staff very responsive by messages.
It's not possible to get inside of you don't complete the pre-check-in. There's no reception, only on the phone.
For internet connection I scanned QR code on the gate, that's all.

- Amazing staff, the young lady is very friendly and cheerful, and the young man is kind and thoughtful. They seem to be the sole two employees/volunteers, but seem to be there most of the time. It's a self-check-in but they are there if needed (either my phone/whatsapp, or in person).
- Lovely to have the kitchen, which is very well-equipped.
- Room was very spacious (awesome)
- Had a little trouble on check-in but I think could have been because of my Apple private relay email.
