Since we understand travelling, we take our job very seriously. Therefore we have carefully prepared these two hostels together with 100% bilingual staff, artists and backpackers to provide you just what you need for an unforgettable stay.
One of our hostels is situated in the central part of La Serena city. Our hostel is close to The Old Town, main square, Museums, Art Galleries, Banks, Arts & Crafts shops, Main Market, Flea Market, Fish Market, Bars & Restaurant and the public transport. The beach is 25 min away. The other one, Aji Verde Beach hostel, is in La Herradura beach, 200 meters off the sandstrip. Since the Fish market is 20 steps away from Aji Verde hostel, you can try different kinds of seafood here.
We have a safe environment with the most cheerful staff who willingly help you with anything.
We offer single and shared rooms along with common areas like kitchen, living/dining room and a terrace where you have an 360° view to the city. We provide also free Wifi, Playstation2, table football, darts, cable TV, playing cards etc.
Sometimes we do together BBQs in the evening and share mate in the morning, play guitar and have good conversations. We can instruct you with activities like surfing, rock/mountain climbing, kayaking. We can even teach you some Spanish and how to play guitar!

The bathroom was so dirty, there was body hair in the sink and I think food as well which was still there 3 days after (meaning they didn’t clean it). The kitchen is dirty, tiny, and doesn’t have enough equipment. It felt like everything was dirty and greasy (door handles, tv remote, etc etc). I think the worse was the smell; the hostel is beside a fish shop so it smells like fish and s**t. There is weird old man in the hostel. Worst hostel we’ve been in Chile so far. AVOID

Smelly room, not sure if the sheets were clean since I arrived in the night. I had to change the bed after half an hour because the snoring of another room mate was unbearable. There's no nice atmosphere to talk to each other, everything is somehow in the basement. The bathroom was OK but could need some reperation. At least the workers were really friendly

Buenas areas para relajarse, linda terraza y céntrico. Desafortunadamente, de los más de 100 hostales que he visitado, este ha sido uno de los más sucios, lo que te ruina la experiencia. Mucho está cubierto de polvo, el suelo estaba lleno de pelos y la cocina súper sucia y engrasada. DeberÃan de cuidar más la higiene. También poner ganchos en los cuartos para colgar al menos la toalla mojada, porque no hay absolutamente nada.
