Lexias is a beautiful hostel with an amazing location on the outskirts of town. It is perfect for the quiet traveller. It is on the outskirts though, so be advised. The staff was so sweet and accomodating. The one downside was the pool. It was under maintenence when we were there, which was a bit of a bummer. It is also strictly cash only. These are two things we would have appreciated knowing beforehand. Other than that, we were very satisfied with our stay and the warm staff.

It all started when my friend & I got told we were rebooked to a different hostel without being asked THE DAY BEFORE OUR ARRIVAL due to overbooking. When the confusion cleared up, we were asked to provide our confirmation email due to their lack of organization. Anyway, if you are a fan of geckos’ poop, dead flies, and period stains on your bedding, this is the place for you! Not to mention the constant loud AC sound, and we had no control over the temperature because of how old it was.

The place and the staff are nice but the loccation is inconvenient, so they have to pick you up every time as it was loccated on a hill.
