Property Description
EcoHostal is a beautiful hostel 380 meters from the beach, made of recycled woods and bamboo, with three separate rooms with twelve comfortable beds, with one kitchen, fridge and comun area.
EcoHostal has a beautiful terrace with hammocks for you to enjoy the lovely view, the hostel is in the middle of the city, nearly to many restaurants, bars, and markets, its a safe place, there are many tourist around. You can see the town from our terrace and enjoy the sunset everyday from the hammocks it is so relaxing. We have nice restaurants down stairs that offer discount for guests staying in our hostel.

Check in from 13:00 to 23:00 .
Check out before 11:00 .
Payment upon arrival by cash.
Taxes included.
Breakfast not included - 4 USD per person per day.

I wish I had discovered Eco Hostal first. I had only booked a stay because I was waiting for immigration papers, so my visit was cut short. But I would definitely return as the atmosphere is inviting, the dorms are comfortable and the staff very friendly. Made a better impression than the resort I stayed at with family.

Overall the best part about this place is the location. The bathrooms are essentially in the room and they are far from clean. The staff was nice but not around much. For the price it is very much not worth it.

Location is on the center, if you travel from Santo Domingo the APTRA buses can leave you almost in front of the hostel, the hostel is clean and have a rooftop, the kitchen is acceptable, near to te beach and you can buy a very nice tours on reception, the staff is good, there is a supermarket with acceptable prices on the end of street, not parking, and is important to say that the ecohostel is on the last floor (52 stairs) take it on account if you have a physical limitations.
