A 100 year-old courtyard residence - previously home to a Gujarathi family with origins in the migration of traders (after Ghazni's conquest) from Gujarat to Kozhikode who set down roots in Kozhikode, encouraged by the progressive Zamorin king - renovated with due respect to its context, retaining the rustic ambience.
Design Ashram was started with the aim of setting a cornerstone for a community of like minded individuals to bond, share and brainstorm around a beautiful Peepal tree courtyard.

Definitely not my favorite place. The room was dirty and had horrible smells of mold and pheses. Wouldn’t stay there again but the staff was friendly.
