i imagine i came during a low season. the staff was very friendly and helpful, but that’s about the only positive things I can say. there wasn’t much going on. the atmosphere was dead, the bathrooms are pretty dirty, the rooms are super humid and smell really bad. unfortunately i left a day earlier than expected because i just wasn’t enjoying myself there. honestly this hostel could’ve been more tolerable had there been more things to do. i would not recommend coming to portobelo. the electricity eve
