This Jan Thiel hostel offers a colorful, relaxing environment in a popular beach area of Curacao.
The property offers both private and shared rooms in the popular Jan Thiel area. All guests will have access to a free mountain bike which they can use to get to the beach, salt pans and other surrounding shops and restaurants.
All guests have access to the shared kitchenette, communal dining areas and various other indoor and outdoor areas where guests can socialize.
Guests can mingle in our wraparound swimming pool or play various parlor and lawn games like billiards, darts, jeu de boules or horseshoes.
There is free Wifi on the entire property and strict no-smoking policy in all rooms. Your comfort is most important so all beds are equipped with comfortable mattresses, high-quality linens and a downy pillow.
Bed & Bike Jan Thiel Policies & Conditions:
Cancellation policy: All cancellations and modifications need to be done 48 hours before arrival date. In the case of a cancellation within the 48 hour window or a No Show, the full amount of the stay will be charged.
Check in from 15:00 to 20:00 (kindly inform us if you will be arriving later than 8pm so alternative check in instructions can be given)
Check out by 12:00.
Payment upon arrival by cash, credit cards, debit cards. This property may pre-authorize your card before arrival.
You will be asked to pay the balance of the accommodation charges at the time of check-in.
Please note:
For the private rooms and dorm beds, a service charge of 12% will be added, as well as the local tax of 7%.
Breakfast not included.
Reception open 7am - 10pm. Caretaker living on premises.
No curfew although quiet time is enforced after 10:30pm.
Please note that a valid photo ID/passport will be required at check-in.
All our rooms are 'Non-Smoking' and a minimum cleaning charge of $100 applies if smoking occurs in the rooms.

Beautiful hostel, pool, and restaurant area. Location is not ideal without a car. Biggest downside is that the AC in my room stopped working on my last night and there was no staff on to help.

I stayed at Bed & Bike for about a week and really enjoyed it! Their kitchen cooks a great breakfast, lunch & dinner. Staff are all friendly & helpful. Facilities are clean and it just has a wonderful atmosphere all around. Enjoyed my time here very much.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Bed & Bike Jan Thiel! The amenities provided were beyond exceptional and the property was laid out in a way which made socializing super easy. There are numerous staff throughout the property who are friendly and helpful. Overall, I'll definitely recommend Bed & Bed Jan Thiel for anyone looking for affordable accommodation in Curaçao. If you are a solo traveler, it will be super easy for you to make friends. It's also a short walk from the beach 🇨🇼
