Property Description
Oasis Apartments, Guesthouse, Hostel & Bar is a British owned and operated establishment that has extended a warm and friendly welcome to our guests in Karon Beach since 2007. We're situated in the heart of Karon's nightlife and we're only 4 minutes walk to the beautiful Karon Beach.
The Hostel room has 8 beds in a built-in bunk style with stairs to the upper level beds. Each bed has a good deep mattress, heavy blackout curtains for privacy and it’s own electrical socket and personal lighting.
A locker is also provided large enough for a medium sized rucksack and your more valuable items.
The room is air conditioned with a communal table, chairs and refrigerator.
There are two shower rooms and a toilet for exclusive use of the hostel tenants, with a further 2 toilets adjacent.
Motorbike rentals are available in adjacent businesses and the bus to other parts of the island stops at the end of the road.
Things to note:
1) Check in from 14:00
2) Check out Before 12:00pm
3) Reception working hours: 10:00 – 24:00 (midnight)
If you will arrive at the hostel after 24:00, please let us know in advance.
4) Payment on Arrival: Cash
5) Cancellation or amendment must be made 2 days in advance prior to arrival.
6) Breakfast is not available however suitable eateries are adjacent.
7) NO smoking in Rooms, however smoking in the bar is permitted

Bed area was clean but loud buzzing when the bed light was used. Communal bathroom area was disgusting, lots of mould, broken shower fittings and generally unpleasant to be in.
Air con is positioned at the front of a long room meaning people closest to it are too cold and people furthest get too hot. It only gets turned on at 6pm every day too which is not ideal.
Hostel beds positioned right beside bar area meaning it was very loud until 1-2am.
Ok for one night but wouldnt stay again.

Great place for a few nights slightly away from the hustle and bustle of kata/ karon but still has everything you need. The beds are a little hard but that Thailand for you, staff were super friendly always down to place a game of pool.

Lovely hostel. Nice owner, massive bookshelf aswell which was a bonus. Lovely lively drinking area out front but couldn’t hear a thing in room when going to sleep which is a bonus. Top bunks don’t feel like top bunk so amazing bed wherever you sleep. Would recommend.
