Battuta Hostel is built within an old building that actually got converted into a Hostel while saving the authentic structure of the building. It is located in a central area where you get to reach hundreds of special places only within walking distance.
Let's be honest, your stay with us wouldn't be complete without laying down on one of our tropical hammocks. You will also be free to enjoy the sun on our roof-top as well as enjoying the gardens out there. Traveling by car? We do have a free parking-lot for you!
Booking with us means joining our community. So you will be meeting lots of people, hanging out with locals and other travelers, also chatting in our cozy common room. Do you know what else? Cooking some Jordanian traditional dishes in our newly renovated kitchen! Woohoo! Maqluba, Mansaf, Kabseh and lots more!
Last but not least, exploring Amman, the north of Jordan and the south with our best team that will take you to trips and recommend you the best tips to visit Amman, As Salt, Jerash, Ajloun, Umm Qais, Petra, Wadi Rum, Aqaba, and the Dead Sea.

I’ve traveled around a lot and this is easily the best hostel I have ever stayed in. The beds, the vibe, the rooftop are all so incredible. Every hostel I stay in now will be compared to this. The value for money is just insanely good, feels almost like you are staying in a hotel. Staff were extremely warm and informative, especially Hakam - the best. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Amman !!

Great location near more local restaurants vs the tourist center. Clean, comfy beds w curtain and light, AC. Can’t speak for the social aspect since I was out doing my own thing but they have movie / food nights sometimes. If you need to extend, book direct it’s cheaper! Friendly staff and tons of resources, tips, tours on offer for navigating Amman / Jordan.

Really lovely and clean hostel, Beautiful view from the roof, not too far from rainbow street in a safe area. could do with a safe in the private rooms, and one of our windows didn't lock properly but wasnt a big deal. very helpful staff and extremely useful that they sell sim cards with data packages. 😊
