Casa del Puerto Hostel & Suites is located in Manga, a peaceful district in a central area of Cartagena de Indias, close to all the touristic points.
In Casa del Puerto Hostel & Suites you can choose between different type of accommodations: Double room with private bathroom which features private bathroom, AC, 32' TV with Netflix; Our bigger private room, with a King size bed and private bathroom; Triple room which is perfect for families and features AC, 32' TV with Netflix; 4 beds dorm, each dorm has curtains, usb plugs, shelf, reading light, AC and ventilator, perfect for friends or solo travelers; Apartment suitable for 5 people.
We offer restaurante service between 12 and 3 pm. After that the kitchen is open to be used by our guests.

Property was well located near a grocery store and about a 20min walk to the downtown quarter. Pool was cleaned every day and you got a variety of breakfast options. Appreciated they had organized events most nights on location or at their sister hostel. Room was very basic. First impressions not great as reception was a bit cold & did not seem to believe us when we told them our shower was broken. The pool tiles need attention ASAP as some are uneven/coming off & my husband cut his toe badly.

Great location and wonderful staff. Breakfast was wonderful every day. Laundry service is only a few short blocks away. Grocery around the corner. Lots of food options within a few blocks and Getsemanà only about a 15 minute walk. The Manga area of Cartagena is free of hustlers and vendors. Just regular people. My room was spotless and the AC worked great. No parking, but I was able to park my moto out front in a well-lit area out front. Not a scratch.

We stayed at this hostel located in a quite neighborhood, missing out on Cartagena's nightlife (Center). The beach was nearby, offering sunshine. Our room had a low ceiling and an unpleasant smell (think because the building is old). Friendly staff and a beautiful indoor pool, but the kitchen wasn't available until 3:00 pm. We did not like the atmosphere, since it is more family hostel and Kids were playing in the pool. I can not say it was awful experience but did not worth the money paid.
