Tulum Banana Hostel opens its doors to welcome travellers from all around the world who want to experience what the magical village of Tulum has to offer.
We will host our visitors in 5 spacious apartments with kitchen/dining room and large windows that illuminate and ventilate naturally. We have 3 shared mixed apartments, 1 shared apartment for women and 1 private apartment with TV. All rooms have fully equipped kitchen, A/C, ceiling fan, lockers, bathroom with hot water, comfortable mattresses and sockets for each bed.
Our staff can inform you about tours, attractions, activities, places to visit, bars and restaurants in the village. Inside the hostel you can enjoy the Caribbean sun in the pool,share moments on our amazing terrace with bar, or relax in the common areas. Banana Hostel is located in the heart of the town,just two blocks from the main avenue and the street of the most popular bars, 7 blocks from the bus station (ADO)

Cancellation policy: 24h before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
Check in from 15:00 to 23:00 .
Check out before 11:00 .
Payment upon arrival by cash.
Taxes not included - 19.00%
No curfew.
We do not accept customers younger than 18 years of age.
Non smoking.

Nice and welcoming guy & dog at the reception.
However, hostal is being quite neglected. When we entered the kitchen, the gas was left on on the stove. Fridge also didn't operate. Mixed AC room was in a terrible condition. We had to get used to a fungus smell which had its origin from a dripping AC. I could not sleep thanks to my ongoing battle with some lovely bedbug friends who terrorized my body at night. I was happily leaving next morning covered in bites. Never again.

There was no water for several hours every evening. We found insects that looked like bedbugs, and they probably were bedbugs. The kitchen were lacking in pretty much every aspect (not enough plates, bad stove etc).
