The Traveler Hostel is probably the nicest hostel we have stayed in in 2 months in South America. It seems to be brand new and very clean. We had a double with private bathroom that was bright and had a great hot shower. The beds were comfortable and lots of closet space. The kitchen seemed to be well equiped with granite counters. The breakfast was good, fresh juice, coffee or tea, bread and eggs. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the price was reasonable. Upstairs terrace too.

Lovely hostel! Breakfast was lovely. Staff were super nice. Lovely chill out area on top floor. Kitchen needs a few more pots and pans for use, however that’s my only complaint! It was a lovely stay

Conveniently located just outside of the city center. Right next to a very busy road that you unfortunately also hear quite clearly at night. That being said the hostel is very clean. There are hot showers when the power is working. The kitchen is well equipped and we cooked for two nights there. The owner is very helpful and friendly and proud of Ecuador and has a lot of good tips. The breakfast is a big plus with eggs, bread, juice and tea or coffee each morning. I would recommend.
