A really comfortable hostel, just a short walk from JR Beppu station, so many restaurants, Beppu Tower and the beach! Staff were really friendly, room was basic, but very clean, and the bed was super-comfortable. Nice kitchen area, chill-out room with TV and lots of books, but the best thing of all was that there's a hot-spring bath _in the hostel_!

This has to be one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. The rooms were spacious (huge!) Has a beautiful traditional Japanese look Free bikes Shooting range inside Free cotton candy Free onsens in the hostel Free foot bath Large, well equipped kitchen Great location and conveniently located near the train station The owner was also incredibly friendly and helped us call a few other places for us because we didn't speak Japanese. Would absolutely recommend this place. 10 out of 10

An amazing hostel. Worth every yen. Has an onsen downstairs. Rooms are clean and quiet. Very safe and spacious, good location, 5-10 minute walk to the station. Great kitchen with everything you could need. Great staff as well.
