Owner is really lovely and the room was well presented but the hostel is absolutely freezing. Bedroom heater on a timer and I woke up in the middle of the night so cold. No central heating but i think there are improvements being done to the place. Kitchen was huge and internet really good, bathroom spotless.

Very good location. Carpark is very convenient. Hostel is very clean. Room has very comfortable bed, but the room is damp and cold. Stuff are very friendly, but I don’t think they have a reception area, so the only time I saw the stuff was when checking in, or occasionally seeing them in the hallway. Dining area has a very warm fire, however both of the dining and the kitchen area are depressing and make you don’t want to cook or hang around.

Really great hostel with comfortable beds. It's an interesting building to navigate but I found that added to its charm. Lots of room in the kitchen and lounge. I think it would be beneficial to have lights and curtains for each bed in the dorms, and a shelf would be nice too. Overall it was a great experience and I would stay again!
