Amethyst Dorm KLCC in Kuala Lumpur provides adults-only accommodation with a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool and a shared lounge. The property is around 1.6 km from Suria KLCC, 1.6 km from Kuala Lumpur Convention Center and 2 km from KLCC Park.

Not great if you’re a backpacker. Staff and atmosphere not very welcoming and everything seemed like a pain for them. Air con terrible, every night I had to get up to sleep in the lobby because it turned off automatically in the night. Gym is okay and in the lobby downstairs there is a good cafe.

If the hostel runs out of space they essentially contract you out to other people within the apartment block. So essentially I ended up staying in a kitchen in an apartment that was completely unassociated with the hostel I'd booked with. Ridiculous.

Facilities were ridiculously good considering the price of the hostel. Access to a massive swimming pool and a gym. The owner was extremely nice and even provided us with Bangladeshi food before coming on a night out with us! Would definitely recommend staying here if your in kuala lumpar.
