Getting in was confusing because I wasn't sent the gate code. I happened to get in as someone else walked in. The place wasn't the nicest in appearance, puddles and leaves everywhere, didn't really feel nice to sit anywhere. The inside was really dark and the women's dorms were in a dark hallway. I was the only woman there which felt weird and there were several cockroaches under the beds. Everyone there seemed nice, it works if you're in a pinch, but as a woman it felt uncomfortable.

Ryan is the best part of that hostel. He was friendly, helpful and informative. Old furniture just placed outside and randomly. During the day you kinda feel like you walking down a strange alley way inside and at night it’s a tad creepy and dark, you feel some sort of security because there is a gate with a lock. The staff and management can only do so much to spiff up the place but you can tell place needs work. The windows were boarded up.The pictures are of the restaurant and not the place.
