Property Description

Black Pearl Hostel has a pirate-themed hostel with a bar and restaurant surrounded by nature and a beautiful, wild river where you can spend hours exploring and relaxing. The hostel encompasses around 3 hectares, so there's plenty of room for activities! We are also frequently visited by small monkeys, toucans and all kinds of birds!

You can visit around 7 waterfalls in San Rafael and also swim in different rivers!

We've got a bar with amazing food and a slick drink-menu to enjoy a cold one after a tough day at the river.

We offer dorms in an ecological bamboo-house and also 3 amazing cabañas covered with sugar-cane.

We also offer tours as bird watching, cacao and coffee plantation, and adventure tours.

This place is just amazing. The owners are incredibly kind and really put a lot of love into their project. The food is really really delicious. The best pizza ive eaten so far in Colombia and desserts are also just perfect. I can only recommend you to try it out yourself and enjoy your time at this beautiful place. Also, I caught a little cold on the way to San Rafael but Ivan has a small garden with herbs and made me some fresh herbal tea to cure myself. Just felt a lot of love from all the people. Greet

This place is great for a winddown during your trip. I stayed here for two days and I felt as if I ended up in a movie. Just outside of San Rafael this hostel is located next to a river. It's really calm, there are animals, the owners are nice and helpful and last but not least: the food they cook is great with local products. If you're nearby, this place is a must.
