Did you know that in the past, houses that accepted travellers for the night let kerosene lamps in front of their houses to indicate that they were open? Ours is lit to receive you, and that's why LAMPARINA is our name, it means kerosene lamp in Portuguese.
We are in a very charming house, located in the best neighbourhood in São Paulo, Pinheiros.
We are really close to two metro stations, Sumaré (3 minutes on foot) and Oscar Freire (10 minutes on foot), besides to have easy access to famous areas of the city like Paulista Av. and Vila Madalena.
We offer private and shared rooms. All guests have access to the common areas, including an equipped kitchen, to make them feel at home.

Cancellation policy: 24h before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

This hostel is in a nice area and it’s clean with well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. It’s nice if you don’t want a loud party hostel and just want to chill.

The hostel is great. The photos don’t make it justice. The staff are lovely, friendly and effective- checking in was very easy on their tablet at he front desk (beware reception is closed between 11pm and 7am)
Overall a pretty great experience.
