Stayed for a weekend. Close to San Pedro market and Plaza de Armas. Good laundry just around the corner. My room just above the "courtyard" - the lobby/sitting area/kitchen. My room had a double bed and a bunk bed, though as is often the case, sound travels through doors and walls, so earplugs are helpful. "American breakfast" is really a continental breakfast. Served the typical pan with marmelade and cheese along with a bowl of fruit and juice. Staff are young, respectful, and relatively shy.

I would NOT recommend this hotel, and will NOT stay here again. I booked for a night, and asked them if I could check in earlier because I'd go very early in the next morning to Macchu Picchu, and if I could have breakfast for the same day, they said it was ok. When I got there, the receptionist looked like she was doing me a favor, and didn't give me a key to the room (the room smelled bad and had no windows). The other room had nasty STAINS on the blanket and the balcony door didn't close!

It was an okay place to stay. However hot water does not work I only had one hot shower the rest were cold and I stayed over 4 nights. Hairdryer almost blew up. Breakfast was great the first day and then most was stale. They also advertise as no curfew but they wouldnâ€™t let me in at 3:30 am no matter what I did. The door man fell asleep. They didnâ€™t even verbally apologise. I didnâ€™t pay for that night as I had to find elsewhere. Light also didnâ€™t work in my 2nd room. Door lock questionable.
