Welcome to Tilia hostel!
A friendly, unique and fun place to stay. With a comfortable and inviting common room, a beautiful rooftop, a well-stocked kitchen and plenty of clean and functional bathrooms. We offer a variety of room/bed choices, with privacy curtains, linen included, a reading light & charging station.
We can help you with planning your trips and tours around Faro and the rest of the Algarve and we offer laundry facilities, cheap beer, wine, drinks and snacks at an extra cost.

Check in any time after 3PM. If you arrive early, you can leave your bags in our lockers (just bring a padlock, or buy one here for €3).
Upon arrival, we will ask you for a €5 key deposit which will be returned at check out.
We will also ask you for city tax to be paid on arrival (€1,50 per person per night).
The minimum age for check-in into a dorm is 18. Any guest under the age of 18 must be accompanied by responsible guardians and must have booked a private room.

Tilia hostel is fabulous. The rooms are lovely. The location is great, the staff very friendly, and the facilities are excellent. Loved the rooftop and would happily stay in Tilia again. Great value. Thank you 😊

fine place but there is no atmosphere or togetherness at all. There are also some long stay guests who made you feel slightly uncomfortable for instance a lady recovering from something medical would linger and loiter in the most unusual places, at 11pm going to the bathroom she was sat rolling a cigarette in the dark in the men's bathroom which was un-nverving half asleep to walk in on. Others would eat and crack cans in dorm at night. Mattresses also uncomfortable. Potential but vibe 'off'
