Property Description
We are a Reserva Natural with 8 years of experience in ecotourism and exchange between cultures and nature. We belong to the ethnic group of the Ticuna. We are focused on responsible and sustainable experiences, always showing the utmost respect for nature and the cultures that have inhabited it for hundreds of years.
Our site is located in the middle of the Amazon jungle. We have two private rooms with a double bed and a bedroom with 7 single beds and bunk beds. Our Reserva has no electricity to avoid impacts on the environment. It is a place to disconnect and enjoy the nature of the Amazon.
We offer a very personalized and flexible tourism with small groups to live an authentic experience and to reduce the impact on the environment. We offer different activities and tours in the jungle and the native communities. Our goal is for travelers to have a direct connection with ecosystems and their native inhabitants. The Reserva Natural Tucuchira has a two-story cabin, a shared bathroom, outdoor showers, a dining room with a kitchen, and a rest net. We are located in the native community of Santa Sofia 45 minutes from Leticia. You can come to us by public boat from Leticia, the boat leaves Leticia 3 times per day: 07 a.m., 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. It's recomendable to reserve the tickets beforehand. We can also help you with the reservation.
Reserva Natural Tucuchira Policy and Condition:
Cancellation Policy: 48h before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

A once in a lifetime trip. This was the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. This is your chance to fully disconnect from society. No phone service, no electricity, outdoor cold showers, outdoor bathrooms (clean and flushable toilets). Very clean. the staff is beyond incredible. They have a ton of tours to choose from ranging from 70,000-250,000. Everything is cash only so make sure you bring more than enough pesos. Contact the host on WhatsApp and they’ll set everything up for you. Thank you!!!!!

We had a lovely stay and an unbelievable experience with amazing hosts! The location was very spectacular in the middle of the Amazonas with many special animals. The fresh and local food was fantastic. We gonna miss our friend Manolo the Tucan (watch out for your toes ;)).

We adored this stay. The staff was beyond kind and accommodating. We booked tours directly through them for every day and the meals at the lodge were all delicious and feeling. Monolo, the tucán who visits the lodge daily, was a highlight of our entire trip. We would definitely stay here again!
