NEW OWNERSHIP! Monteverde Monkey Hostel is located right at the center 2 min walk to the Santa Elena center area. Bus station is 6 min walk or you can even take/drop the bus in front of our hostel. We have a strategic location where you will find ATM, bank, pharmacies, restaurants, supermarkets, bar and much more. In this sense, we are close to some of the most relevant landmarks and spots of town such as Monteverde Butterfly Gardens, Santuario Ecologico Monteverde, Orchid Garden, Ranario among others attractions that you can discover yourself.

Monteverde Monkey Hostel decides to be a very accessible hostel since we want everyone to come to know how wonderful Monteverde is! We have from mixed dormitories to private rooms which have all the comforts that our clients deserve. We have a full community kitchen, laundry service, free wi-fi, living room, dining room, parking lot.
The hostel tries to be a welcoming hostel since it's 100% Costa Rican run & owned, the place offers the best personal attention and we are so able to help and assist you with all your needs & questions while you experience one of the most attractive and iconic cloud forest around the world. Our hostel is simple, but extremely clean, friendly pura vida Costa Rican people ready to welcome you with a warm smile.
By the way, we will shortly improve curtains in our dorm beds so the price will increase for a bit but it's for our customers comfortability :)
We offer all the information about tours & attractions in the area and we can help you booking any tour, shuttles and public transportation scheduling around the country. Ask us for any doubt and we will be glad to help out.
The price is when you pay by cash, if you would pay by card, we must add a 13% bank commission

Check-in anytime between 12:00 and 21:00
Check-out: 11:00

Reception: 7:00 till 21:00
Quiet hours 22:30, whoever if you want to go out, drink, party and have fun, that's ok with us outside but we want everyone when they come back to be quiet, not to be noisy because other people will be sleeping by then.

Please email us in case you need to modify your reservation / Hostel will keep your room until the arrival time chosen at the time of booking. If you are arriving late, please contact the hostel directly; otherwise your reservation will be cancelled.
