At 3Monkeys Backpacker's Hostel there's plenty to get involved with, from typical Nepali cooking class to do a yoga on the rooftop or morning walking activities to around Monkey temple with locals and a free walking tour near by hills. Hungry? Treat yourself in the hostel's restaurant. To explore, Grab a free mountain bike or hire a bike, or grab a free city map from the reception.
Staff are on hand at 24-hour to help with tips on what to do while you are in Nepal – remember us for free travel or trekking information. Flying in? We have a shuttle service to and from Kathmandu airport.
Flying solo or in a group? We have private singles as well as rooms for up to three people (Attached Bathroom) . You can also choose a comfy bunk in one of our 6 bed mixed or 4 bed male/ female- dorms with shared bathroom (Western style Bathrooms with 24-hour hot shower).

Just 3 kms from the buzz of downtown Kathmandu and 9kms from International airport yet nestled in a peace and chilled-out neighborhood. You can jump on a local bus a couple of blocks away that'll take you all around Kathmandu, As well Tourist or Local bus to Pokhara, Chitwan, Lumbini

As hostels go, it was on the better end. It was not noisey or expensive. But it was definitely a hostel. So if you are looking for a cheap and quiet place, this may be it.

The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, we were with them twice and would definitely come back, it felt like home
