Property Description
Rancho Esperanza is a tranquil beach front hostel - the perfect hub to bring together a community of worldwide travellers looking to escape and contemplate, surf, or simply to unwind for a few days. However you choose to spend your time here, you will appreciate authentic Nicaraguan life at the beautiful beach setting of Jiquilillo, where you'll be confident that your presence is doing good not harm.
At the Rancho we have an array of different sleeping options, from dorm beds to private cabanas. There is a huge communal area where you can relax, interact with other travellers, and enjoy some of our delicious locally sourced food from our restaurant (our menu is diverse and caters for all dietary needs). Once you have enjoyed a relaxing sleep and tasty breakfast, you can make your way to the beach front which is just a 30 second walk away. You will also get to join in with some of our workshops where you can learn some of the local trades and exchange experiences with the community.
Rancho Esperanza Policy and Condition:
Cancellation Policy: 3 days before arrival.In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
Check in from 14.00 to 23.00
Check out before 12.00
Payment upon arrival by cash, credit and debit cards (we do charge a credit card fee of 5% )

we have live-in staff who will be on hand 24 hours but not at reception specifically

A hidden gem of north Nicaragua! This beautiful hostel is the perfect place to visit if you’re looking for an authentic travel experience. There is a great area for socialising with other travellers but also plenty of space and quirky private cabanas if you want some privacy. They also offer some really cool activities here - we had the most amazing experience releasing baby turtles into the ocean! Definitely worth a visit

Great tranquil location just a 30 second walk from a beautiful long beach with good surf, the big communal rancho area was a great place to relax and read a book from their huge library! Really friendly staff and an interesting selection of local activities to do such as coconut tree climbing and jewellery making. Would highly recommend:)
