never@home is a brand that combines accommodation with adventure travel. We are fortunate to have two fantastic properties situated in Cape Town. Our Kloof Street hostel is ideally located within walking distance of a variety of parks, restaurants, bars, fashion boutiques, grocery stores, and of course, the famous Long Street! Not forgetting our close proximity to Table Mountain, Lions Head and Signal Hill – with our rooms having spectacular views of them all!
ROOMS:
The rooms at never@home Kloof Street are tailored for modern travellers, focusing on impeccable cleanliness and contemporary in-room amenities that enhance the travel experience. Choose from a range of private and shared dorm room options (including female only rooms), to accommodate different budgets and preferences. Relax on new bunks and beds and benefit from amenities like a secure in-room locker, quality linen and 2 pillows, high-speed WiFi and various other conveniences.
DAILY ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS:
Having a scheduled group activity every day of the week guarantees that your never@home Kloof Street experience will be an exciting adventure! These unique and enjoyable activities are either FREE or available at a minimal cost, giving you the chance to meet fellow travellers and explore our beautiful city without overspending. Some of which include:
- FREE yoga classes (yoga mats provided)
- FREE outdoor movie night
- Bring n' braai (bbq) night
- Visit to a local farmers market
- Group hikes to the top of Table Mountain and Lions Head
- FREE games nights - Table tennis/ beer pong/ giant jenga etc

Fun hostel with very friendly and helpful staff. A lot of organized things to participate in, and of course lots of restaurants and bars nearby for a good time. Got quite a bit noisy unfortunately since it is situated in the busy Kloof St. Beds and bathroom were very clean!

Amazing location, staff, cleanliness, and comfort. Stayed in a beautiful private room with ensuite... with amazing views of Table Mountain! Great bar downstairs too with good food! Would stay here again!

It's in a good location, nice and clean and has some communal areas. But I didn't find it particularly cosy or outstanding, it's just an okay hostel. I had a private room facing table mountain. Every night around 1 am, for about half an hour, someone disposed off bottles - I guess from the nearby bars, just outside my window. So either sleep with earplugs, or wait until 2 to go to sleep. The hostel advertises a lot of activities, without mentioning that most are suspended in winter.
