Convenient location in the heart of Thamel. Pretty good value at $13 AUD per night but a bit shabby, like a lot of South Asian Guesthouses. No light in the bathroom, only warm water ,NOT hot and the WiFi was quite weak. No heating in the room but there was a nice comfortable bed and thick duvet to keep me warm. Okay place for a shoestring budget, no need to stay in smelly, snoring, locker banging, bag rustling dorms anymore!! Warren Lansley,56 , glad to be back in Asia, AVID TRAVELLER.

The owner and his assistant look like Mahatma Gandhi-their hero who appears in their currency, the rupee, which paradoxically makes them all looking at their guests as milking cows. They should have been the window of India and be the best in service BUT THEY ARE NOT! The dorm room is full of huge mosquitoes and the fan is SO NOISY that it might fall right into your face. Reception area smells of disgusting spices emanating from the poor tenants downstairs. Like NIGHTMARE IN ELM STREET! YUCK

Great place to stay for the right price. Nice little breakfast included, excellent staff, and superb location - central, yet up a side road that is quiet and full of convenient shops. Not new or loaded with facilities, but everything you need for a stay in Thamel.
