Wanderers Lodge

Wanderers Lodge is situated behind the famous I Heart Cafe which neighbors another eatery, Chai ECT. During your stay here there will be no worries about where to go for food, snacks, beverages & deserts (open between 9 am & 9 pm). We have our own garden to be enjoyed with greenery to be admired. Indoors we have a spacious lounge with comfortable chilled areas and suitable working spaces with power points. Our private room offers a warm cozy double bed with bay window seating that overlooks the cafe garden. There is a working station with suitable lighting and power points, a hot beverage station, television and, a pristine clean washroom with a hot shower. We have a safe and easily accessible parking space on this property, free of charge.

We are a backpacking couple from Madhya Pradesh and England. We have traveled around India together and fell in love with the hills here. We love the outdoors, trekking, camping, cooking, music, and most of all we love to meet new people from all walks of life.

We have two friendly female dogs here who have their own garden at the back of the property and sleep upstairs with us at night. If you're a dog lover, they would love to meet you. However, should you wish not to, they have their own area with their own access so will not bother any of our guests.

We also offer trekking & camping activity packages from this property ranging from day trips to overnight stays in some beautiful locations including remote village experiences. If you have a motorbike and would like to experience some guided bike trips, this can also be arranged here.

Our surroundings here are very green with many bird-watching opportunities, it's a peaceful location where you will wake up with birds chirping. We are located on the main road of Mehragaon with easy access to Bhimtal. Along this main road, you will find several eateries from local dhabas to restaurants, grocery shops, petrol stations & local temples. Bhimtals main attraction is the lake which offers a variety of eateries, boating activities, nature walks, and a Shiva temple. Bhimtal has an accessible market that has all major amenities available. We are 6km from Sattal lake which is set amongst dense forests of oak and pine trees, these lakes are a paradise for migratory birds. You can participate in several outdoor activities around Sattal lakes. Outside our property, there are regular local buses you can take to Haldwani, Bhowali, and the wonderful Nainital.

Cancellation policy: 1 day before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
