Magic Bacalar is a tourist complex located in the heart of the magical town of Bacalar at the foot of its fascinating 7-colour crystalline lagoon.
The property has accommodation options for everyone from camping with your own equipment to private rooms with tv, wifi and private bathroom.
Our dock is amazing and from there you can enjoy the beautiful sunrises with violet, reddish or orange tones, each sunrise is a beautiful and different experience, ideal for watching the first rays of the sun, swim, do yoga, meditate, take great pictures or whatever is of your preference, we have a common room which is perfect for meeting people from all over the world, share cultures and spend pleasant moments, our shared kitchen and outdoors lends itself to good fellowship and exchange of recipes.
Our atmosphere is also relaxed and quiet, a few minutes from downtown if you are looking to party or the tranquility of the sound of water and the stars in the sky will embrace you with its peaceful and renewing energy during the night, we also know that there are beings that are part of the family and you like to share unforgettable moments with them and that is why we accept pets, we love to share this little piece of magic with you thank you very much for your preference.

Cancellation policy: 1 day before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Check out before 11:00 .
Payment upon arrival by cash only.

Lovely hostel with its own lake access which was perfect for us as a group of 4, but might not be very social for solo travellers. The dorms with no bunk beds are actually cool and way quieter than dorms with bunks!

Great place! Love that there is access to the dock and water. Staff was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the kitchen was a mess because no one cleaned up after themselves. A staff member did an awesome cleanup on the second day and things got better.

Loved this place! Right on the Laguna, the staff were really friendly and helpful, the communal areas and dorms were cleaned everyday. It’s has a rustic charm with wooden clad dorms huts communal bathrooms, open air kitchen, good open social area to chill and meet other people and it’s own jetty to watch the sun rise and swim in the lagoon. The beds are comfortable with air con and own fans, they have 24hr reception to be on hand and make sure all secure. Met some really amazing inspirational fellow travell
