Better than I expected. I had a wonderful peaceful stay for my weekend trip. I will 1000% be staying here next time I'm in Bordeaux. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Very clean. Convenient location in a residential area with local bakeries and convenience stores. You can't walk to the city centre and train station easily. I cannot speak highly enough of this place.

Potential to be really good. But the bunk formats made it difficult to be social in the rooms. The roof top was unstaffed the whole time so was never really social. As a solo traveller I would not recommend. Really easy to get to from the airport, but around an hour walk to get anywhere. Lockers weren't secure.

Expensive but clean. The kitchen stovetop sometimes doesn’t work, you must talk to the staff about that. Lockers don’t work at all in any room, keep everything at the front desk and lock up your bag. Pool is cold but it’s nice to have. Bordeaux itself isn’t that hot in August. JOST would do well in Spain.
Some staff are absolutely the best people you’ve ever met, and the morning staff are the worst pretentious people. Make sure you select the 15€breakfast
