We arrived at the hostel around 8pm and we were welcomed by what I can only describe as a staircase to hell.
When we finally got up all the stairs reception was weird to find and owners didn’t speak much English which made it difficult to find somewhere for dinner. No info about the area or facilities the hostel had. The owner was unhelpful maybe due to the fact that he was drunk.
Room was very hot and beds uncomfortable.
Dog poo on the floor at night which wasn’t cleaned up, wouldn’t rate

This hostel might be a bit rough round the edges in terms of the way it looks but for the price it’s brilliant. The owner Luke is so welcoming and goes above and beyond to help. He also remembers everyone’s names, which makes you feel really welcome. It’s worth booking this hostel just for the free dinner. I stayed two nights and both dinners were delicious and it really brought everyone together, which was perfect as I was solo. Thank you Luke!
